Resumen
The editors take three questions asked in the first chapter and answer them. The efforts in this book at overarching, cross-case comparison allowed us to suggest types of hybrids and speculate about how contextual factors shape them and what the determinants are and the impact on outputs and outcomes of governance. Further, we give some limited, but important, attention to how hybrids change over time. Finally, in this chapter we reflect on our methodological experiences of studying hybrids. Though not our original intention to rely on the IAD framework for the book, we found it helpful to our authors and to the framing of the project. We therefore very clearly brought an institutionalist perspective to the study of hybrids.
