Resumen

Time is a very complex concept that can only be understood from broad and transdisciplinary analyses. When teaching history to children such complexity should be considered, thus referring us to new representations of historical time. This text highlights the role of teaching history in the proposal of a conceptual model of time based on the synthesis of several investigations on that matter. Ultimately, it whishes that, for children, history had the meaning of a tool that helps them better understand the present of a past time and learn to intervene in the future time of a present.
