Resumen

In the Maresme, a region of the Barcelona province, intensive agriculture production, especially in greenhouses, has a major impact on the regional economy. This study focuses on the analysis of the use of water in greenhouses. It also attempt to asses the estate of the sector based on the survey of 27 nurseries were ornamental plants and flowers are grown.
