In this article, we publish five lectures delivered by Pelegrí Casades i Gramatxes at the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya. The lectures, given between 9 and 30 December 1905, examine various aspects of the archaeology of Ancient Egypt, including architecture, funerary practices, religious beliefs, and art.
