Resumen

The aim of this paper is to analyze the use of ancient sources in Thucydide's 'Archaeology'. Our attention is focused in the originality of Thucydide's historiographical method in contrast with his predecessors, mainly Herodotus. Finally, we show a epilogue about the innovation of the 'Archaeology'.
