La Antigüedad en la versión española de la "Propyläen Weltgeschichte" (1986)

The paper analyzes the circunstances of the publication of the work of universal history Propyläen Weltgeschichte, with especial attention to the Spanish edition of 1986, and focusing actually in the authors that signed the books about Antiquity, as far as most of them are known members of historiographical schools close to the nazism and fascism, a fact that endanger the whole interpretative value of the work, regarding the view of the Ancient World. Likewise, this paper adds a possible motive for the publishing of the second edition in Spain in 1986, when the content of Ancient History of the original German edition is not, actually, the one from 1960-1965 but, actually, the edition of 1940-1943.
