Resumen

The aim of this paper is to underline the importance of dietetics in the Classic World. In order to do this, we define the range and acceptance of dietetics as well as its influence in shaping an ideal lifestyle. This model is well attested in ethnographic descriptions provided by Xenophon's Anabasis.
