Resumen
Given the context of postfordist crisis, there is a need of creating new models of economic and social feasibility, in which geography could contribute by formulating new analytical and practical development proposals. Through a reflection on theoretical approaches from critical geography and the debate on sustainability, the present article claims the need of geography, together with other social and humanistic sciences, to participate in the formulation of new models of socio-political change.
