New Phytologist 231 (2021), 617–630, doi: 10.1111/nph.17404. Since its publication, the authors of Flo et al. (2021) have identified an error in one of the equations presented in their article. In Eqn 2, the equation describing G_Asw,j,i,k should have included brackets in the numerator. This error does not impact the worked results as the equation was used correctly in the associated code. The correct Eqn 2 is shown below. We apologize to our readers for this mistake.
