CLIMATE ADVOCACY TOOLKIT: Making Climate Advocacy Accessible For All

The "Climate Advocacy Toolkit", developed as part of the GreenSCENT project, aims to make climate advocacy accessible for everyone, particularly people with disabilities. It was initiated to address the disparity in access to climate information and resources. Our vision is an inclusive climate movement where all individuals can participate and contribute effectively. The toolkit provides practical recommendations, including the use of Alt text, colour contrast, emojis, CamelCase hashtags, accessible filmmaking, audio descriptions, subtitles, and easy read formats. These guidelines help content creators and activists ensure their climate communications are universally accessible, fostering a more equitable and informed global response to climate change.   This toolkit has been developed by Chiara Gunella and Marina Pujadas-Farreras in collaboration with Transmedia Catalonia, GreenSCENT and ClearClimate.
