Resumen

© 2015, Universidad del Zulia. All rights reserved. This study presents an instrument aimed to collect data about musical practices observed in Catalan primary schools (Spain) and the process followed for its construction. Based on an agreed didactic approach, observable items likely to be indicative of good practices in music education were established. The resulting instrument, which was subjected to validation, consists of two parts intended to gather data on both the aspects arisen during the observation and on the observation context. Finally the difficulties encountered in the construction process of the instrument are discussed. Elements to promote dialogue between teachers and researchers are also provided.
