Aproximación experimental a la cestería a partir de las improntas de la cerámica: El caso de la Cova Fonda (Vilabella, Tarragona)

The evidence of basketry in prehistory is scarce and there are only a few examples. The study of technical productions that use plant fibers (basketry and cordage) has also been approached through indirect evidence such as the imprints on ceramics. In this work, the techniques and vegetal materials used in the manufacture of Cova Fonda (Vilabella-Tarragona) turntables, which were used in the ceramic production process are analyzed through the implementation of an experimental program.
