Resumen

© 2018 Orillas. All rights reserved. These early stories about various episodes and characters of the civil war are a model of how to deal with the present in fiction, because compared to what is usually stated, and Chaves Nogales himself stated, these are stories in which the author starts from reality to compose texts that feature significant variations with what took place historically. And despite this, what is significant, what has made the book so fresh so many years after, is its literary ambition and its independence of judgment even today.
