Resumen

Three main lithostratigraphical units have been distinguished. They are constituted from base to top by the following: a) Jaca turbiditic systems; b) storm dominated Sabinanigo sandstone shelf and c) Pamplona marls - St. Orosia - Atares shelf deltaic complex. The three units a, b, c,) consitute the Jaca depositional sequence. Its lower boundary is placed underneath the depositional lobe facies that form the turbidite system base. These facies settle over the fan fringe and basin plain facies of the Banaston depositional sequence. The lobe facies onlap eastwards. Megaturbidite settles over them. The upper depositional sequence boundary is placed in a higher position than it was previously thought, in the angular unconformity found at the top of the St. Orosia alluvial system and underneath the Cancias continental complex. -from English summary
