Empowering Women to Climb the Entrepreneurial Mountains in Remote Areas

Objectives: What do you want to achieve by implementing the project?
CLIMB aims to empower women in rural and mountainous areas by enhancing their entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, and digital competencies, reducing barriers to business creation. The project will develop targeted training, best practice research, and a digital learning hub, fostering networking, mentorship, and policy engagement. By strengthening local and European support systems, CLIMB will contribute to gender-inclusive rural development and economic sustainability.
Implementation: What activities are you going to implement?
CLIMB will implement best practice research, in-depth interviews, and success factor analysis to identify key challenges and solutions for women’s entrepreneurship in rural areas. It will develop training modules, a digital learning hub, and networking tools to support aspiring entrepreneurs. A pilot phase will test resources, while dissemination events, policy engagement, and stakeholder collaborations will ensure long-term impact and sustainability across Europe.
Results: What project results and other outcomes do you expect your project to have?
CLIMB will produce a best practices report, targeted training modules, and a digital learning hub to support rural women entrepreneurs. It will create networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and policy recommendations to enhance gender-inclusive rural development. The project aims to increase business skills, financial literacy, and access to support services, ensuring long-term sustainability and broader EU-level impact through dissemination and stakeholder engagement.
