Measurement of alpha-s from the structure of particle clusters produced in hadronic Z decays

Measurement of the strong coupling constant alpha-s from a study of energy-energy correlations, thrust, C-parameter and oblateness using clusters of the observed particles. The use of clusters is shown to reduce the theoretical errors in the measurement. Data are taken from 106000 hadronic events obtained with the ALEPH detector around the Z0 peak.
