Journalistic discourse and literary discourse make up a three-centennial tradition, whose name is useful not only to classify a large production of literary journalistic texts, but also to constitute a discursive and methodological paradigm useful for the present and future of Journalism. Through a descriptive analysis of exemplary texts of Literary Journalism from Mexico, and interviews with their living authors, this study, based on the Literary Journalism Comparisonism proposed by the Bellaterra School, allows us to understand their contributions and proposals in the face of the paradigm crisis of current Journalism.
