La dirección pública profesional en las administraciones públicas españolas

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation is to analyse, contextualise and expose the weaknesses and strengths of professional public management in the Spanish legal system, more than fifteen years after the approval of article 13 of the basic legislation on public employment now contained in Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of 30 October, which approves the revised text of the Law on the Basic Statute of Public Employees. Likewise, this work aims, through this normative analysis, to propose those regulatory modifications that are considered necessary in order to strengthen the institutional design of this figure.
