This PHD investigation turns around the concept of the construction of the modern war veteran culture inside the context of the Cold War. The main thesis focuses on the idea that the context of conflicts during Cold War, the baby boom and the youth countercultures and the modern warfare generated an specific context, with common characteristics and tehemes that generated in response different subcultures between soldiers, that ended in the construction of the modern veteran culture
