Abstract

Research and comparative analysis on the identitarian categories of women, found in the discursive practices of novels Candelaria, written by Germán Castro Caicedo; El Eskimal y la Mariposa of Nahum Montt; Los ejércitos of Evelio José Rosero, En el brazo del río of Marbel Sandoval Ordóñez; Abraham entre bandidos of Tomás González; Muchacha al desaparecer of Marta Renza, Delirio written by Laura Restrepo and Tres ataúdes blancos of Antonio Ungar allowed to establish the ways in which the female characters that are present in the corpus studied are represented; so, the extraliterary dimension of the novels in question was specified, in order to determine from different historical contexts and from different systems of ideas, the similar components of discourse that support these categorizations, supported by the theoretical approach offered by Judith Butler.
