Aproximaciones transemióticas para una teoría de la racionalidad sentiente

Student thesis: Doctoral thesis

Abstract

This paper aims to develop a series of theoretical approaches that give rise to a possible model of human rationality. To achieve this, a transemiotic study was carried out to corroborate the physical (biological) and psychological signs that are present in the cognitive processes related to reason. In the first instance, the results allowed us to problematize rationality from a philosophical and a neuroscientific perspective. With this, some defining elements were determined that allow the integration of the components of emotion, feeling, and somatic markers as configurative elements of rationality. With these inputs, a constant dialogue and discussion were made of the elements found in neuroscience with philosophy, particularly with the noology proposed by Zubiri to outline theoretical approaches around a theory of sentient rationality. Finally, it concludes with a series of constitutive notes of human rationality that intends to integrate the neuroscience of reason with noology through a trans-semiotic approach.
