Abstract
Researchers from Computer Vision Center (CVC) and Digestive Endoscopy Unit from Hospital Clinic de Barcelona have jointly developed image processing tools which allow an automatic detection of polyps in videocolonoscopy. Early detection of these lesions is key to patient survival, as they are precursors of colorectal cancer.
