Abstract

This article presents and analyses the experience carried out during a 2nd year high school chemistry subject where grades were eliminated during the learning process in order to promote an assessment that enhances the self-regulation of the students, increase motivation to learn and promote a positive self-concept of students, with the aim not only of improving academic results but also of changing the conception that students have about what it means to learn and how best to learn.
