Abstract

Study on religious thought in the work of the Catalan poet Joan Maragall, and specially on his Cant Espiritual (1911), a very significant poem in this sense; the different readings which the poem has undergone during the XX th century allow us to understand the various reception that the work of Maragall has suffered and, at the same time, helps us to understand some aspects of the evolution of religious sensibility in Catalonia.
