This paper describes the basic learning on the school improvement process that has been made in recent decades and presents a conceptual framework for the school improvement as it is currently understood. This framework provides the foundation and introduction to the various fields of research that are integrated into the area of Education and School Organization (ESO). In the second part is presented the sub-line Research in School Organization that, beside the other sub-line Information Techologies conforme the line that, from ESO, is worked in the discipline school organization in the universitary master of educational psychology and specific didactics.
