The qualitative research can be an efficient method to confront the reality, even though we must pray attention to the way as we give validity to the results we obtain. In this case, we have analysed from depth interviews the role that farmers play in the management of Llobregat Delta territory. They are the farmers who explain directly which ara the main problems that affect the agrarian activities from this zone, a region submitted to numerous pressures: urbanistic growth, development of industry and services, creation of new infrastructures and communications... The decline of primary industry it's evident and the disapperance of agriculture seems to be imminent (reduction of agrarian actives, increase of agrarian space and lack of continuity in the farmers enterprises, among other factors). A great number of farmers are thinking to sell their lands taking advantage of possibles requalifications of agrarian soil to urban and industrial uses. And the agrarian park don't seems to have the capacity to change this situation.
