Abstract
The aim of this paper is to draw on the Iberian radiocarbon databas e in order to delve into the temporality of the main archaeological features that define the transition between the Copper and Bronze Ages, and to compare their chronological variation across Iberia. We seek an exploratory rather than explanatory goal: gaining knowledge from the exploratory power of radiocarbon dating analysis in order to define the archaeological settings that, subsequently, should be explained or understood by reference to social and/or environmental
factors.
