Abstract
We update the geographical distribution of the Argentine ant in Spain and Portugal. The map shows a clear peripheric pattern for this ant, that prefers the coast and low altitudes. A few discordant localities are noted. The possible significance of climate warming in its expansion, by allowing for a longer activity period, is discussed.
