Abstract

New polydentate amphiphilic phosphines containing polyether chains are prepared; unprecedented coordination and reactivity of the hemilabile ligand PPh[(CH2)3CHMe2][(CH2CH 2O)3Me] are found; the η3 mode of bonding of this ligand is demonstrated by X-ray crystallographic studies.
