String goniometry by neutral currents

    Abstract

    If a new neutral gauge boson exists at accelerator energies, the measurement of the mixing angle(s) fixing its current could to a large extent determine the (heterotic) string model at the Planck scale. In this paper we present the renormalization group predictions for this angle. © 1987.
