Abstract

Thermal atmosphericr adiation measurements have been carried out in Manresa, atown 60 km away from Barcelona. Computations of the correlations with the most common used equations for long-wave radiation are performed. Brutsaert and Idso equations show the best fitting with experimental data. A new equation is proposed, with almost the same properties than Idso-Jackson's obtaining a better correlation coefficient. © 1984.
