    Abstract

© 2016 IEEE. The perpendicular ac susceptibility χ = χ′ - jχ″ of a conducting thin strip of width 2a obeying a power-law dependence of electric field on sheet current density E/Ec = (K/Kc)/K/Kc/n-1 with n ≥ 1 is calculated as a function of the field amplitude Hm and frequency ω. A scaling law is deduced which states that χ/χ0, χ0 being the negative of diamagnetic limit of χ, is invariant after ωaKc/Ec and Hmπ/Kc are multiplied by a constant C and C1/(n-1), respectively.
