Abstract
The aim of this work is to investigate and systematize the main conceptual and epistemological contributions to the feminist political thinking, in a specific Eurocentric sense, made by peripheral feminisms, also known as postcolonial feminisms. In order to do this, it will be used the category of hegemonic feminism as a result of the Euro centrism inherent to social sciences and it will be attempted to recover a genealogy of the peripheral feminist thinking, where the recognition of women rights does not necessarily imply cultural disidentification, but rather the understanding of cultures from power relations and possible contextualized feminist redefinition.
