Abstract

The reaction of [FeCo(CO)7(μ-CH=CRH)] (R = H or Ph) with PMe2Ph leads to complexes [FeCo(CO)6(PMe2Ph)(μ-CH=CPhH)] and [FeCo(CO)5(PMe2Ph)2(μ-CH=CRH)]. The disubstituted compounds contain two PMe2Ph ligands linked to iron and two bridging ligands, carbonyl and vinyl. The structure of [FeCo(CO)4(μ-CO)(PMe2Ph)2(μ-CH=CH 2)] has been solved by X-ray diffraction methods.
