Abstract

Amplitude-transmitting filters are implemented using a two-dimensional programmable liquid-crystal spatial light modulators operating in a transmission-only mode for apodizing and hyperresolving applications. Analysis of various filters designs and optical system response modification using filter changes are permitted using this method.
