Abstract
In this paper we propose to compare the process of employment of a generation of graduates who entered the labor market at a time of economic expansion with another generation of graduates that has done it on the crisis. We have two surveys in Catalonia about employability of graduates: one before the crisis and one in the middle of it. The first explores the employment situation in 2008, people who had graduated in 2004 and the other graduates in 2007, who were interviewed in 2011. The comparison between the results of these studies show that while the crisis has affected the graduates, as a whole, has a significantly lower level of impact than in other young people. The result of employability of the two generations of graduates has not undergone major changes despite the crisis. © Federación Española de Sociología.
