Abstract
Researchers from the UAB have analysed over one thousand public primary education schools in Catalonia to study what motivates parents to choose a particular school. They have also studied how this election influences the quality management of neighbouring centres. From the analysis of these processes experts consider it possible to promote initiatives which improve the quality, competences and motivation of Catalonia's entire public education sector.
