Abstract
This article aims to discuss the various implications of the concept of duty in connection with the new rights arising around the existing debate between different supporters and opponents of the so-called liberal eugenics. The goal to which is directed this essay is the critical introduction of the perspective of duties, in order to overcome the anthropology of possessive individualism, which is the ideological background for most of the involved parts in the new eugenics discussion, and also enable a political reflection on technologies with eugenic applications and generally, able to change the current human condition.
