Abstract
A case is presented of acute brucellosis which began clinically in the form of a right laterocervical adenopathy and febrile syndrome, and which initially was thought to be a malign lymphoma. Lymph node biopsy showed Piringer lymphadenitis; the hemoculture was positive for brucella. The participation of lymph nodes in brucellosis is briefly reviewed.
