Abstract

This work describes the synthesis and characterization of PEGPHOT (tri-(4-triethylenoglycol-monomethyletherphenyl)phosphite) and its use in the rhodium-catalyzed hydroformylation of different olefins. In the hydroformylation of 1-hexene, it was possible to carry out 10 recycles of the catalytic system without significant loss in activity. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
