Particle decay and bulk dissipative stress in the early universe

Abstract

In this paper we show that the combined action of particle decay and a physically motivated dissipative bulk stress can lead to a period of generalized inflation and temperature increase. This effect may have occurred at the baryogenesis era. © 1996 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
