Abstract

Relaxation effects produced by the broad-band pumping laser light on magnetic resonances induced in oriented vapours are investigated. Experimental evidence of resonance bleaching by optical transverse relaxation in a sodium vapour pumped by multifrequency laser radiation is reported. © 1982.
