Abstract
In this paper we present the implementation of an optical codification method by using a multichannel correlator. The parallel architecture of the system is based on the different diffracted orders produced by the pixelated structure inherent to the spatial light modulator used to display the input scene. The codification of six classes of objects is carried out by using three channels to process the signal simultaneously. A comparison between the experimental results and the numerically simulated ones is presented.
