Abstract
© 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. This discussion of normal and abnormal findings on routine ophthalmic examination of the foal should prove useful to the equine practitioner who must provide counsel to the concerned owner and/or breeder. Early diagnosis and treatment of ocular abnormalities in foals will improve the prognosis for continued function and aid in determination of the significance of lesions observed later in life.
