Abstract

With the aid of the Landau-Lifshitz theory for thermodynamic fluctuations we estimate and comment on the fluctuations in the rates of mass, angular momentum, and other relevant quantities of massive Schwarzschild and Kerr black holes. © 1988 The American Physical Society.
