Abstract

With the help of the Landau-Lifshitz theory for nonequilibrium fluctuations four recent phenomenological models for the decay of the effective cosmological constant are analyzed. The model of Ozer and Taha as well as the one of Chen and Wu successfully pass our test. © 1991 The American Physical Society.
