Abstract

Here is the 100-word abstract in English:

This text analyzes the creative evolution of Nicolau Rubió i Tudurí through his post-war "recapitulation." It reveals a fascinating paradox: before his exile, Rubió explored a wild Africa with a scientific gaze, yet designed classical, geometric gardens that "artialized" nature. After the war, his perception shifted; he could no longer see the raw jungle, viewing it instead through the nostalgic lens of the aesthete and photographer. This loss of direct contact with the wild led him, paradoxically, to create free, landscaped gardens that sought to recreate the jungle experience and the pure pleasure of the stroll.
