The new paradigms for education incorporate both technical (ICTs application) and pedagogic (competential approach) challenges for teachers. There is a need for digital resources suitable for these specific didactic approaches. Virtual Museums (VMs) present some advantages as didactic resources. In this article, we describe the possibilities and opportunities to work with VMs as ICT educational resources under the paradigms of constructivism and competential learning.
