Abstract

This study argues that it is necessary to reformulate the application of Spanish teaching in the Secondary Education with the objective of changing the students' perception of this subject. Following this line, we defend the adequacy of the exercises based on minimal pairs, because they allow for reflection and experimentation on the language. Therefore, the aim of this study is to demonstrate that morphology can also be susceptible to reflection from exercises based on minimal pairs. In order to do this, first of all, the study provides the contents on morphology, which can serve as a source of information for teachers when building their own minimal pairs exercises. Secondly, we provide a large number of exercises based on minimal pairs with its linguistic reflection, which want to be a guide for teaching morphology in Secondary Education.
