Abstract

© Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2016. The inverse response characteristic, that is, the controlled process initial response to a step change is in the opposite direction to that of the steady-state direction, originated from two parallel competing dynamics can be found in industrial processes such as distillation columns and chemical reactors.
